Tools to help you crowdfund.
September 3, 2017

Crowdfunding can be difficult. We at Počni, ba! want to make it as easy for you as possible. To do this we have made some tools that you can use. We’ll publish more in the future!
Simply click on the links and copy and paste the tools into your own Google Sheet or Excel document.
1/ Checklist:
There is a lot to do, so it is easy to forget something. Our checklist helps you plan ahead so you don’t forget anything.
Coming soon.
2/ Feasibility study:
One of the most useful things you can do is to study campaigns similar to your own. You can see how much they raised, how many backers they got and the average backer contribution, and see which rewards worked well in terms of the number of backers and the amount of money raised. You can take ideas about what to do and what not to do. We give an example based around a permaculture crowdfunding project. Look at it, and then do the same for your own campaign using the second tab labeled 'template'.
3/ Reward development:
Your rewards are one of the most important tools you have to get people to contribute to your campaign. Use this calculator to play around and see how much funding you would have based on:
1. Different reward price tiers;
2. Varying estimated numbers of backers for each;
3. The costs associated with each reward.
N.B. you also need to consider taxes that you may need to pay
Use what you learn to adjust your reward strategy.
4/ Email calculator:
It's widely agreed that crowdfunding campaigns which raise 30% or more of their total target funding goal in the first few days are much more likely to be successfully funded.
A big email list is one of the most powerful tools you have at your disposal to make this happen. Is yours big enough?
If you know your funding target and can make an estimate of an average backer contribution then you can use this calculator to make an estimate of the number of emails you need.
